VISION

Ministry in Fashion Education (Mi Fe) is a NON-PROFIT (501 C-3) organization that aims to help educate, mentor and provide assistance, both financially, as well as through mentorship with top fashion industry personnel’s.

The goal of the organization is to assist those outside of the top fashion communities such as Paris, New York, Milan, London and Rome, find a way to create their own niche in their homelands, such as the Caribbean, Latin, Central & South America, Africa, Asia, etc.

Through our Mi Fe Talks events, we will create live and virtual spaces for audiences to find, share and create new ways of thinking about fashion, diversity, and wellbeing.

The company aims to create a new international platform working to create a dynamic and inclusive landscape for critical debates in fashion, ethics and education.

Objectives

International – Exchange programs making links between debates taking place at leading fashion education centers around the world through traditional and non-traditional channels. Currently our organization is working with EFCH (Escuela de Fotografia Creativa De La Habana – photography school), in Havana, Cuba, with aims to granting photography scholarships to students interested in the art of fashion and photography.

Education – Leadership and personal and professional development programs

Mentoring – Individually tailored programs of support, advice and underpinned personal development

Dialogue – Interdisciplinary, links between different disciplines and the arts,
popular culture, mental health and wellbeing

Curatorial – An exhibitions and events program co-curated with fashion museums, colleges and guest curators.
